The Dinosaur Valley State Park Store is more than just a place to grab a souvenir—it plays a major role in supporting the park.

Since 1993, profits from the Park Store have gone directly back into Dinosaur Valley State Park. Over the years, nearly $2 million in support has helped fund projects, programs, equipment, and improvements throughout the park.

Your purchases have helped make possible things such as summer staffing, an on-site residence for the Assistant Park Superintendent, accessible trails, educational wayside exhibits, ATVs, trucks, playground equipment, park improvements, and much more.

And it’s not just the Park Store! Our merchandise sales, rentals, vendor programs, donations, and special events like the Dino Dive all help generate funds that are put back into supporting Dinosaur Valley State Park.

So when you buy a shirt, grab a souvenir, rent equipment, attend an event, or make a donation, you’re doing more than taking home a piece of Dinosaur Valley—you’re helping take care of it.

Friends of Dinosaur Valley State Park was established as a nonprofit organization in 1993 with one important mission: to support and improve Dinosaur Valley State Park.

For more than three decades, profits generated through our organization have been put back into the park, helping fund improvements, educational programs, equipment, maintenance, special projects, events, and much more.
