Dino Dive and First Day Hike

  Want to be involved in an event that you will remember for years to come? Join us January 1st of every year as we plunge into the spring fed Blue Hole. One of the most popular swimming holes in the great state of Texas. It includes a full day of outdoor events leading up to our famous Dino Dive.

 The race is held at the beautiful Dinosaur Valley State Park in Glen Rose, Texas. This course has rolling and sustained ascents and descents, although none are terribly steep. The loops take you through varied terrain, from double track trails in fields to single track in wooded areas. 

 Support our park by attending our scary outdoor Haunted Hike. Every year the last weekend of October. 

Choose from a 5k, 15k or 13.1 mile trail run where the dinosaurs roamed! Long ago, dinosaurs left footprints in the mud at the edge of an ancient ocean. Today, you can run in their tracks at night, but don’t let them catch you.

  The Mammoth is a FAMILY FRIENDLY, single day, multi-distance adventure trail run. With five different distances to offer, all  athletic abilities will be able to run their race. Race individually or with a non-competitive team. The courses will utilize a part of the parks 20 miles of single-track dirt and limestone trails.
